1      Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to apply developmental theory to real life experiences and observations.

2      Instructions

You will present about your own life experience.

Choose three (3) of the following areas of developmental theory:

a.      Biological and Behavioral

b.      Cognitive

c.       Sensation and Perception

d.      Language

e.      Conceptual

f.        Intelligence

g.      Social

h.      Emotional

i.        Attachment and Identity

j.        Family

k.       Peer Relationships

l.        Moral

m.    Gender

Choose one (1) theory, or concept, or idea, from each of the three areas and briefly describe what it is.

Apply this idea to your life and explain how it helped you to understand your own experience.

3      Format

You need to use visuals for this presentation, poster board, collage, or PowerPoint.

If using PowerPoint, you must bring it on a flash drive/thumb drive. NO LOGGING IN TO CLOUDS or emails.

Time limit: 6 minutes (30 seconds grace period; points lost thereafter)

4      Grading

A full credit assignment consists of: Completing all aspects of the instructions, following the exact format indicated above, and providing well thought out responses.
